Surname Summary Report
Among all the genealogical resources online there are billions of names available to be searched, but they're
scattered over various databases and online transcriptions at different web sites. We developed the Surname Summary
Report to help researchers better manage their time online by showing them which resources have the most
information matching the surnames they are searching for.
This report gives you a quick snapshot in several different categories: published family trees, census, birth,
education, church, marriage, immigration, military, death and miscellaneous. And it clearly identifies which are
free and paid services.
Use this report the way you would a road map when planning a trip across the country. See which destinations
you should visit first, which can be a tremendous help if your online time is limited. The report is easily printed
and ready to take to your local library or Internet cafe. Bring it to family gatherings and show your relatives
what is available.
Genealogy Today is producing these summary reports and offering them to our visitors free of charge. There's no
obligation to purchase anything, and you're welcome to share the reports with anyone you know who may be interesting
in the surname.
Before requesting a report, please check the listing of available reports to see if the surname
you are interested in is already published.
Requesting a report is easy. Just use the form below to enter the surname and click "request report". Only one surname
per request is permitted. Due to the demand of reports requested, your report may take up to ten (10) business days
to complete. You will receive an email notifying you when it is complete.
